What Separates the Top 0.1% of Pickleball Players?

Plus, fix your hip pain with simple exercises!

Pickleball is becoming a professional powerhouse, and MLP team valuations are proving it.

Since 2021, team values have skyrocketed, with some originally bought for $100,000 now estimated to be worth up to $10 million!

Celebrities like Tom Brady, LeBron James, Vince Vaughn, Gary Vaynerchuk, and many others are heavily investing, recognizing the sport’s massive potential.

This growing interest isn’t just about passion for the game—it’s a serious business opportunity. MLP has attracted high-profile athletes and investors, transforming it into a sport with huge commercial potential - particularly with future sponsorships, media rights, and fan engagement driving growth.

What Sets the Top 0.1% Apart?

The best pickleball players don’t just rely on luck—they train to stay cool under pressure!

Here’s what you can do to avoid choking, and play your best in critical moments:

  • Control Your Attention: Practice mindfulness daily to sharpen focus, reduce anxiety, and help you stay locked in on the present moment.

  • Visualize Success: Spend 5 minutes a day imagining yourself hitting that perfect shot in a high-pressure situation. Rehearse it mentally to build confidence.

  • Practice Like You Play: Simulate game-speed situations in practice. The more pressure you experience in training, the better you'll perform in real matches.

  • Adopt a 1-Point Mindset: Don’t let emotions carry over to the next point. Treat every point equally and focus 100% on the next one to minimize anxiety.

Choking is a reflection of your mindset, not your skill. Follow those 4 steps, and your competition will be talking about how clutch you are!

Did You Know?

10% of all tennis courts in America have been converted to Pickleball courts!

According to The Wall Street Journal, the tennis vs. pickleball turf wars are heating up—and pickleball is winning!

Why? Simple math: one tennis court serves 4 players, but when converted to pickleball, it can host 16! Clubs love it because it brings in more members and more revenue.

And the cost? Just some paint… and a few grumpy tennis players. With 10% of tennis courts already converted, this is only the beginning!

Do you suffer from stiff or painful hips while you play?

If your hips feel tight or painful on the court, you might be missing out on one key element: rotational mobility!

To move better and stay pain-free, it’s time to add rotational training to your routine.

Start with internal rotation exercises—this is often the first range of motion we lose and the most neglected. Check out Dr. Richmond’s video for 3 easy hip exercises to get started.

Remember, you should avoid any movements that cause pinching or pain in the hip. These exercises are designed to help you safely improve your hip mobility and function.
